It’s true: our offices are located in Colorado, Arizona and Texas, but we are grateful to have the opportunities to travel and work with clients nationwide, and in some cases, internationally.
Matt Assini has been travelling to Michigan regularly and is looking forward to a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This is all part of the Benefit Concepts commitment to providing a personalized experience for every one of our clients.
And even though our Texas office is located in Waco, Korbett Roberts is happy to deploy his services to the greater Dallas, Houston and Austin areas. To learn more about our unique process and why we do what we do - email us.
2 BCI Team Members Recognized By The Institute For Preparing Heirs
Congratulations to Richard Hartmann and Paul Ferguson for becoming chartered members of the first ever Institute For Preparing Heirs (IPH) certification class. The class is held by Pepperdine University and took place in July 2010.
You may be very aware that preparing heirs is becoming an increasingly important topic to address in our industry. Roy Williams, in conjunction with Vic Preisser, wrote the book on the topic. Preparing Heirs: Five Steps to a Successful Transition of Family Wealth and Values is a comprehensive guide written by the two founders of the IPH. According to their findings, in 70% of families surveyed, the heirs lost control of the family’s wealth and harmony as a result of the family’s lack of trust and communication during the estate planning process. Typically, heirs were uninformed as to the size of the estate, the makeup of the assets, and what was expected of them once the assets were transferred. In extreme cases, heirs sued one another over the estate.
BCI is proud to offer the resources of Richard and Paul’s certification and expertise in this field. If you would like to receive a private briefing regarding this topic, please email us.
